S2E3: Roadrunner Athletic Fund - Joy Grimsley, Director

Episode Summary

In this episode we speak with the Director of the Roadrunner Athletic Fund, Joy Grimsley. The Roadrunner Athletic Fund (RAF) provides scholarship support for Roadrunner student-athletes and is the fundraising branch of UTSA Athletics. As part of a thriving campus community with abundant growth, we strive to maintain the most exceptional experience for our student-athletes in the classroom and in competition. A RAF member is someone who contributes philanthropically to the Roadrunner Athletic Fund. These donors are vital to the growth and sustainability of UTSA Athletics. RAF membership starts at just $50 annually and makes a difference in the lives of student-athletes! Joy, a former student athlete herself, found her passion in helping other student athletes succeed. It was no clear or obvious path, but her excitement in what she does everyday is reflected so greatly in this interview. Her personal experience is so valuable for our UTSA athletes, as she is more than someone that raises money for scholarships, but someone they can lean on. If you would like to give to RAF, please see the links below and get involved today!
