In this season 1 recap episode, we get a chance to speak with Dr. Chris Packham, professor of Astronomy at UTSA and team lead for the James Webb Space Telescope! Through Dr. Packham's position with the JWST, UTSA was awarded 53 hours of direct use for students and faculty to contribute to the research and the many discoveries that have and will occur through the use of the JWST. Dr. Packham provides an update on UTSA's involvement with the JWST, and also answers some detailed questions in regards to the exploration that is occurring, the data being received, and just how does this thing work!
